The initial window, shown in Figure 1, contains a menu bar with various options. As usual, some
of them are duplicated in
the toolbar, in which case it has been pointed out the button image. These
options include:

dBase
Access to the data base (dBase).

Scheduler
Access to the Calendar, Planner and Messaging zone.

Notebook
A
place where you annotate. Notebook uses the local area (local
dBase). -
Calendar. Access to a perpetual calendar where you can calculate distances between dates.

Connect area
Select/change the work area
in the main zone. -
Run command
Select and run commands/executables
contained in the List of Commands of the local area. -
Frequent Use
Inspect the panel of Data Used Frequently
of the local area. -
Send Message
Send messages to another
user using the internal messaging system of Zator.

Save copy
Make a backup of the
local dBase. -
Restore copy. Restore local dBase from the backup.

Check integrity Check integrity of the dBase connected in the main zone. Repair potential inconsistencies.

Reindexing. Regenerate the index system of the dBase connected in the main zone.

Regenerate & Compact. Recover space of the deleted data in the dBase connected in the main zone.

Configuration.
-
Work areas. Define work areas in the dBase connected to the main zone.

Command catalog. Defining shell commands and/or applications that can be executed from the dBase connected in the main zone.

Messaging addresses. Defining users, and its corresponding mailboxes, of the messaging system for the dBase connected in the main zone.

Frequent use. Edit the panel with Data Used Frequently for the local dBase.

Parameters:

Initial parameters. Define settings that govern some operation details of Zator.

Select font. Select font to be used by the application in some texts (the selection is only valid for the current session).

Users:

Access Keys. Set passwords for default users of the dBase connected to the main zone.

Create. Create additional users in the dBase connected to the main zone.

Delete. Delete additional users of the dBase connected to the main zone.

Status. Utilities to manage the license in the registered versions.
